We Believe In The Promises Of God

“On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.”

Psalm 138:3

"Truly, I tell you, unless you turn and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Matthew 18:3-4

These verses have become so crucial in my journey since being back in America for a short period of time.

As I have struggled to gather peace and strength in this season, a wise and seasoned missionary gave me encouraged me to have child-like faith: wholeheartedly absorbing the promises that God has bestowed upon me.

I am pleased to announce that the “SECRETARIATUL DE STAT PENTRU CULTE” (SECRETARIAT OF STATE FOR RELIGIOUS CULTS) has formally given its opinion regarding my stay in Romania.

It reads: “…we hereby transmit to you the favorable opinion of our institution for the extension of the right of long stay in Romania for two years, for religious activities…”

This opinion I have received is one of the crucial paperwork to be submitted to the Immigration authorities when I return to Romania.

As I look forward to my return to Romania, I will be looking at flights to Budapest(usually the best airport to fly into to then drive to Oradea) for the second week of June as well as coordinating with Pastor Ted future projects around the church. I will also be part of a future outreach for a kids camp in Ukraine. More information soon to come on that.

It is also encouraging to see in this process to see that the government favors Salem Christian center in Oradea. The government historically doesn’t approve of paperwork that associates with independent churches. Through the prayers of many, I sense that since we have been blameless and upheld our integrity in this process, we have blazed a trail for future paperwork to be approved in a timely manner not only for us but as well as others who wish to stay at Salem for an extended period of time.

Although my time in America came unexpected and is coming to a close, I sense the hand of God on my life. I don’t do well with change. Usually the longer I am somewhere, the better off I am. But this time was different. It was healthy for me to be around my friends who have loved me and supported me. It was a blessing that God revealed aspects of me that have needed to be addressed. I am truly a blessed man to be in the communities I call homes. Romania, Oregon and soon California. The thoughts in my mind as I prepare to spend time with my parents in my hometown, I think about how bright the future is when I have received the love of my Heavenly Father who has never left me nor forsaken me, guiding me to still waters.

After a short time in California, I will, once again, face my calling as a missionary to Romania. God’s love has been poured out to me in this time and I am ready to spill the overflow. God’s love has sustain me through all times, including this period of questioning, waiting and searching for answers that God provided in due time.

Regardless of the circumstances God is always doing a new thing.

I am thankful to be His Handiwork.

“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7

I look forward to sharing with you all soon my departure dates and the events that take place after landing in Romania once again. I have a feeling it may not be the last time I come and go.

Here are my prayer requests:

My time in my hometown will be refreshing and filled with Joy.

For God to speak on the new things He would like me to do in Romania.

For Salem Christian Center to thrive and have future funds to expand the church.

For peace in Romania as they have now elected a president.

For favor and safety as I travel to California today and soon Romania!

May God bless you abundantly!
